Ask a fan what Alfie Boe is doing in 2025 and the answer starts with an arena tour, not a quiet year: the tenor spent March and April on a 12-date UK arena tour with Michael Ball (Radio Times, UK entertainment listings guide), the live show behind their album Together At Home. After the tour, the questions turn personal, and the public record gets thinner — here’s what’s confirmed, what’s still unclear, and what comes next.

Is Alfie Boe Married Now?
Alfie Boe’s marital status in 2025
The most-searched answer is also the least documented: no recent public record confirms whether Boe is dating, partnered or single, and he has made no announcement.
What is documented is the marriage that ended. Boe and April Boe divorced in 2019, according to public records; neither has given a detailed public account of the split. Since then, Boe has kept his private life out of his press cycle. The 2025 arena tour with Michael Ball was promoted strictly on music — their sixth studio album and a decade of collaboration — rather than on personal gossip (The O2 (London arena event list)).
That silence creates a vacuum that fan forums fill quickly. Search “Alfie Boe wife 2025” and you will find speculation dressed as biography. The record, as far as it goes, says this: divorced in 2019, no marriage since, no verified partner named.
Has Alfie Boe got a new partner?
- No named partner has appeared in Boe’s public tour materials or verified interviews
- UK press coverage of the 2025 dates centered on the Ball partnership, not a romantic one (West End Theatre (theatre news outlet))
- Celebrity-name rumors circulate online without a primary source
Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. But for a public figure whose every tour date gets tracked, a confirmed relationship would most likely have surfaced in the same listings that mapped his arena run.
The implication: “Is Alfie Boe married now?” deserves a two-part answer — the marriage is over, and the current status is simply not public.
Who Sang the Original “What’s It All About Alfie”?
Origin of the song
- Written by Burt Bacharach (music) and Hal David (lyrics)
- Original hit version performed by Cilla Black, released in 1966
- Written for the 1966 film Alfie, starring Michael Caine
Cilla Black’s 1966 record became the version everyone remembers, turning a film theme into a standard. The song’s title is a question aimed at the film’s main character — which is why it doubles neatly as trivia for anyone named Alfie.
Alfie Boe’s connection to the classic track
The title keeps attaching to Boe because his first name is Alfie and his surname rhymes with the lyric. The song doesn’t belong to him — it belongs to Bacharach, David and Cilla Black.
Boe’s actual connection is looser: he is one of the UK’s best-known tenors named Alfie, which means the classic follows him into interview Q&As and comment sections. His setlists lean on musical theatre and crossover standards rather than 1960s pop, but the question keeps coming up anyway.
The pattern: this is one of the few “Alfie” questions with a fully documented answer, and the answer has nothing to do with Alfie Boe’s career.
What Is the Name of Alfie Boe’s New Album?
Upcoming album details
When fans search for a “new” Alfie Boe album in 2025, the album they are looking for is almost certainly Together At Home — the record the arena tour was built around — not a solo release.
Together At Home is the pair’s sixth studio album and marked their 10th year making music together (The O2 (London arena event list)). Radio Times’ Going Out guide records the release date as 8 November 2024, several months before the tour began (Radio Times (UK listings guide)).
Release date and expected content
- Together At Home — released 8 November 2024 (Radio Times (UK listings guide))
- Sixth studio album by Ball and Boe (The O2 (London arena event list))
- Presented as a tribute to people and places important to the pair and their fans (The O2 (London arena event list))
So the precise answer depends on what “new” means. If it means most recent release, the answer is Together At Home — already released, already toured. If it means a future solo project, no title has been officially announced, and any rumored name should stay in speculation territory until Boe’s own channels confirm it.
What this means: the album question that keeps trending has a confirmed answer — it’s an album from November 2024, not an unreleased mystery.
Is Alfie Boe in Mr. Selfridge?
Alfie Boe’s television appearances
- No — Alfie Boe does not appear in Mr Selfridge
- His known acting credits sit in musical theatre, led by Jean Valjean in Les Misérables
- His television footprint is mostly concert specials and guest performances
Mr Selfridge, ITV’s period drama about the department store magnate, ran for four series with a large ensemble of British stage actors. Boe’s name is often added to that roster in memory, but the cast lists do not include him.
Why fans ask about Mr Selfridge anyway
A stage actor with a big crossover profile looks like exactly the kind of performer ITV would cast — so the rumor feels plausible even when the record says otherwise.
If you want Boe on screen, the reliable places are filmed concerts and theatre productions, not the Selfridges counter. The quickest way to settle the argument is a cast list — and Boe isn’t on it.
The catch: the question is false, but the instinct behind it is fair — his theatre background makes him an easy name to misplace in a period drama.
Why Did Alfie Boe’s Wife Leave Him?
Reasons for divorce
The divorce is public. The reasons are not. Between those two facts sits an entire ecosystem of online guesswork with no primary source behind it.
Boe and April Boe divorced in 2019, according to public records. Neither Boe nor April has explained the split in detail to the UK press, and no court documents released into the public domain give a cause. That makes “why did his wife leave him” technically unanswerable.
Public statements from Alfie Boe
- No detailed public statement from Boe on the divorce
- No extensive comment from April Boe in UK media
- Post-2019 coverage focuses on work, not the marriage
When someone claims to know why the marriage ended, they are either closer to the couple than any public record suggests, or they are extrapolating from fragments. The honest editorial position is to label the cause unknown.
The implication: the question has no sourced answer, and the most respectful reply is to say so rather than supply a dramatic one.
Why Did Alfie Boe and Katherine Jenkins Fall Out?
Collaboration history
- Boe and Jenkins are two of the UK’s biggest classical-crossover names, with a history of shared stages
- Boe’s 2025 touring cycle pairs him with Michael Ball, not Jenkins (Radio Times (UK listings guide))
- Neither artist has publicly ruled out working together again
At the height of their crossover fame, Boe and Jenkins were frequent collaborators, and their joint concerts drew strong demand. During one touring period, tabloid reports claimed friction behind the scenes. Neither performer ever confirmed a personal falling-out, and the story stayed at the level of tour gossip.
Reported rift and aftermath
Two headline performers stop sharing a stage, and the gap gets filled with a feud narrative — even when the only documented fact is that they simply moved on to separate commitments.
In Boe’s case, the separate commitment is easy to document: his arena partnership with Michael Ball has defined his recent touring, from the November 2024 album to the 2025 dates (West End Theatre (theatre news outlet)). What that means for Jenkins is unknowable from the public record.
What this means: “falling out” is tabloid framing; the verifiable detail is that two busy performers took different touring paths.
Where Is Alfie Boe Living Now?
Current residence
- Boe is based in the United Kingdom
- London has historically been his base for theatre and recording work
- No precise address is published, and none should be expected
His 2025 working diary is the practical clue: a 12-date UK arena tour from Cardiff to Brighton keeps him in Britain for the entire run (Radio Times (UK listings guide)). No source reviewed here suggests he has moved abroad.
Homes in the UK
When a singer’s entire tour diary sits inside the UK, the working answer to “where does Alfie Boe live” is simply Britain — with London the likely base for theatre work.
Fans sometimes chase property details through land registry snippets and old interviews, but Boe has never made his home life a public exhibit. The responsible answer stays at country level: the UK, with London as a sensible default.
The upshot: you can find Alfie Boe on an arena stage across Britain more easily than you can find his front door — and that divide is by design.
Alfie Boe 2025 Timeline: The Together At Home Run
Eight entries, one pattern: the album came first, the arena run followed, and the tour ended without a confirmed encore. The route itself, as mapped by West End Theatre, touched 12 cities — Cardiff, Bournemouth, Nottingham, Newcastle, Manchester, Liverpool, Aberdeen, Glasgow, Leeds, Birmingham, London and Brighton (West End Theatre (theatre news outlet)).
| Date | Event | Source |
|---|---|---|
| 2019 | Divorce from April Boe finalized | Public records |
| Together At Home released | Radio Times (UK listings guide) | |
| Tour opens — Utilita Arena, Cardiff | The O2 (London arena event list) | |
| Bournemouth International Centre | Gig Noise (concert listings site) | |
| Utilita Arena, Newcastle | West End Theatre (theatre news outlet) | |
| OVO Hydro, Glasgow | Glasgow Live (Scottish news site) | |
| The O2, London | The O2 (London arena event list) | |
| Tour closes — Brighton Centre | Radio Times (UK listings guide) |
The signal in the sequence: the project’s momentum carried from a November release straight through an April finale, with no gap long enough for a side project to surface.
Confirmed vs. Unconfirmed: The Alfie Boe Fact File
Confirmed
- Boe and Ball completed a 12-date UK arena tour in March and April 2025 (Radio Times)
- Together At Home was released on 8 November 2024 (Radio Times)
- The album is the pair’s sixth studio collaboration (The O2)
- The London date was at The O2 on 13 April 2025 (The O2)
- Boe divorced April Boe in 2019, per public records
Unconfirmed / Rumored
- Any current romantic partner — no public confirmation
- Exact net worth — estimates only, no verified figure
- The brain tumor rumor repeated online — no primary source found
- Cause of the 2019 divorce — never publicly detailed
- Solo album follow-up — no title or release date announced
Read the two lists side by side and the dividing line is clear: claims tied to ticket sales, album credits and arena listings are solid; claims tied to Boe’s private life depend on unnamed online chatter.
Why this matters: the gap between those lists is where most fan-site myths grow, and it is also where a reader with a source-checking habit has a real advantage.

Three sources, one through-line: the public story of Alfie Boe in 2025 is a story of dates, venues and albums. The private story remains unwritten in the same record.
Alfie Boe’s 2025 has been defined by one fact with a paper trail: a 12-date arena tour with Michael Ball. Everything around it — new partners, solo albums, health rumors — stays unverified until a named source confirms it. For fans who want to stay ahead of the story, the reliable habit is simple: follow the venue listings, read the album credits, and disregard any biography that cannot name its own source. Alfie Boe’s next chapter will arrive the same way this one did — announced on an official stage, with a date attached.
